Dr. Jacques Thigpen
Dr. Jacques Thigpen serves as the Associate Provost for Curriculum Design, Academic Programs, and Undergraduate Research in the Division of Academic Affairs at PATHS University. In this role, he provides strategic leadership in curriculum development, academic program innovation, faculty development, undergraduate research initiatives, and academic quality assurance, supporting the University’s commitment to academic excellence and student success.
Dr. Thigpen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Southern Western College, a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Southern Western College, a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, a Ph.D. from Collins University, and a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University. He holds 12 professional certifications in specialized areas of psychology and behavioral health, including Psychology, Psychological Assessment, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
A distinguished clinical professional, educator, researcher, author, and business leader, Dr. Thigpen brings more than 25 years of experience in behavioral health, counseling psychology, organizational leadership, business management, and higher education. Recognized for his expertise in curriculum design, academic administration, evidence-based research, and interdisciplinary program development, he has contributed extensive scholarly work through publications, research papers, books, theses, instructional materials, and course development.
