Students should carefully review the SDAC Documentation Guidelines to ensure that all required materials and supporting documentation are submitted accurately and completely. An Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or Section 504 Plan alone may not provide sufficient information. Additional medical, psychological, educational, or professional documentation may be required.
Students should submit an SDAC application only after being officially accepted to PATHS University and receiving a myPathsU Student ID. All required documentation and supporting materials should be submitted according to the current SDAC process. Students are encouraged to ensure that all documents are complete and submitted by the appropriate deadlines to avoid delays.
Application and supporting documentation reviews typically begin following the conclusion of the Fall and Spring academic semesters. Students are encouraged to review all listed deadlines carefully for important dates, submission requirements, and processing timelines.
Once the application review process is complete, an SDAC Advisor will contact the student through their official PATHS University email account with instructions on how to schedule an initial meeting. Students should regularly monitor their PATHS University email for updates.
Students who may need accommodations for New Student Orientation, such as captioning services or an interpreter, should contact SDAC by June 1 to allow adequate time for coordination. Family members, guests, or non-students attending orientation who need accommodations should also contact SDAC directly.
After accepting your offer of admission and setting up your official PATHS University student ID, you may begin the SDAC application process. Students are strongly encouraged to begin the registration and documentation process at least two weeks before the start of classes.

The qualified professional should provide information sufficient to document the condition, relevant functional limitations, and the relationship between those limitations and the requested educational support.
