YEAR 1 – (SPRING SEMESTER): An examination of mental health disorders using the DSM-5-TR classification system. Students learn diagnostic criteria, etiology, assessment strategies, differential diagnosis, and cultural considerations in mental health diagnosis. Emphasis is placed on ethical and accurate diagnostic practice. (3 Credits)
