Multicultural Counseling (PSYC 613)

YEAR 1 – (SPRING SEMESTER): This course examines cultural, social, and systemic factors influencing counseling practice. Topics include race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, religion, and disability. Students develop cultural self-awareness, advocacy skills, and culturally responsive counseling strategies. (3 Credits)
